Mohammad Ariffin Ramly is a Malaysian cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler, he has played for the Malaysia national cricket team since 2002. Biography Born in Malaysia in 1986, first represented Malaysia at Under-13 level, playing in the U-13 Tuanku Ja'afar Cup (South East Asian Championships) held in Kuala Lumpur in the year 1999. He was a member of the U-15 Malaysian team which took part in the ACC Under-15 Trophy in Kuala Lumpur in July 2000. He played in the ICC Under-17 Asia Cup the same month and in the ACC Under-17 Asia Cup the following year. The ACC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Open only to associate and affiliate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), it was contested biennially between 1996 and 2012, but has been replaced by the three-division ACC Premier League as the primary limited-overs competition for non-Test-playing ACC members. The ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament was a three-day cricket tournament run by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), contested between its top-ranking ICC associate members. It was played three times between 2004 and 2006, and then replaced by the ACC Twenty20 Cup. The ICC Intercontinental Cup was a first-class cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as part of its cricket development programme. It was designed to allow Associate Members of the ICC the chance to play first-class cricket matches over four days against teams of similar skill in a competition environment and prepare them for eventual promotion to Test cricket status.
