Aqeel Karim Dhedhi
Aqeel Karim Dhedhi ( ur, ; born 18 July 1957) is a Pakistani business tycoon and stock trader who is the founder and chairman of the AKD Group. The umbrella of AKD Group includes Financial Services, Real Estate, Telecom, Infrastructure and Natural Resources. Early life and career Dhedhi's father was Haji Abdul Karim Dhedhi, a prominent businessman. His family are Kutiyana Memons who migrated to Pakistan in 1947, originating from Junagadh. Dhedhi completed his schooling at Karachi and initiated his career by taking part in export business with his brother. He started cotton business projects when he was in seventh class. He started trading at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) in 1976. in 1984, he built his own office in Karachi Stock Exchange. Karachi Stock Exchange Dhedhi has been a stockbroker at the KSE since 1986. Memon People
The Memon are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group that originated in the Sindh region of Pakistan. The majority of the Memon people around the world follow the Hanafi fiqh of Sunni Islam. The Memon people have cultural similarities with the Khoja, Khatri (Vohra), and Gujarati peoples. Memon people speak the Memoni language as their first language. Multan Sultans (Urdu: ) is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team representing the city of Multan in southern Pakistan in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team was founded in 2017 as an additional sixth team added to the PSL. The team plays its home matches at Multan Cricket Stadium. The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested during February and March of every year by six teams representing six cities of Pakistan. The league was founded on 9 September 2015 with five teams by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Instead of operating as an association of independently-owned teams, the league is a single entity in which each franchise is owned and controlled by investors. Each team plays the group stage matches in a double round robin format; the top four teams with the most points qualify for the playoffs, culminating in the final.
