Antonio Gómez Rufo
Antonio Gómez Rufo professionally known simply as Gómez Rufo (born 1954 in Madrid) is a Spanish writer. Gómez achieved a law degree at the Complutense University of Madrid, he graduated in 1977 and between 1979 and 1983 he worked as a lawyer. In 1984 he began working as a screenwriter and poet for books. His debut was in 1984 when he wrote his first book entitled ''El último goliardo''. He wrote the screenplay for the 1999 film ''París Tombuctú'' (which starred Michel Piccoli). In 2005 Gómez won the Fernando Lara Novel Award for ''El secreto del rey cautivo''. Michel Piccoli
Jacques Daniel Michel Piccoli (27 December 1925 – 12 May 2020) was a French actor, producer and film director with a career spanning 70 years. He was lauded as one of the greatest French character actors of his generation who played a wide variety of roles and worked with many acclaimed directors, being awarded with a Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival and a Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin Film Festival. Fernando Lara Novel Award
The Fernando Lara Novel Award ( es, Premio Fernando Lara de Novela, links=no) is given annually in Spain by the José Manuel Lara Foundation and the Planeta publishing house to an unpublished novel in the Spanish language. The publication of the finalist (runner-up) work is not expected, although it is sometimes published by Planeta itself (as in the case of ''The Shadow of the Wind'' by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, finalist in 2000). Created in 1996, it is named after the youngest son of , founder of the publishing house, and who was CEO of Grupo Planeta until his death in a traffic accident in August 1995. Goliardia is a type of Italian university student association, similar to the fraternities and sororities of the United States and Canada or to the Studentenverbindung in Germany. Their mythology is built around a supposed link to a group of mostly young and disaffected clergy from the 12th to 13th century.
