Anoma Janadari (also spelled Anoma Janadare) is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. She has acted in critically acclaimed roles in the films ''Thani Thatuwen Piyabanna'' and ''Davena Wihagun''. Career She started acting career with the stage drama ''Hitler'' in 1985 and Percy Perera's drama, ''Nara Lovin Ekek Aapi''. Then she continued to act in many plays including ''Hena'', ''Maghatha'', ''Veniceye Welenda'', ''Polina'', ''Gandhi'', ''Makarakshya'', ''Eedipas'', ''Samawenna Weradeemak'' and ''Sinhabhau Lawa Gassawa''. Her maiden television acting came through 1990 serial ''Prabathaya''. Some of her popular television serials are ''Dunhinda Addara'' and ''Diyaketa Pahana''. Asoka Handagama
Asoka Handagama (born December 1962) is a Sri Lankan filmmaker. He obtained his primary and secondary schooling in a provincial school and went on to study Mathematics at the University of Kelaniya where he was awarded a first class honours degree. He obtained his MSc in Development Economics at Warwick University in 1995. He is also an Assistant Governor of the Sri Lankan Central Bank. Theatre Asoka Handagama's entry to filmmaking was via the theatre and television. His maiden theatrical effort, ''Bhoomika (film)'', was to address the seedling emerging ethnic crisis in the Island. ''Burning Birds'' (දැවෙන විහඟුන්) is a 2018 Sri Lankan adult drama film written and directed by Sanjeewa Pushpakumara and co-produced by Pushpakumara and Antonin Dedet. The Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) is an annual film festival based in Los Angeles, California, founded by Kyrgyz filmmaker, Sadyk Sher-Niyaz in 2015. In its inaugural year, the festival ran from October 26 to November 2. Its awards are known as "Snow Leopard" awards.
