Anna Verouli
Anna Verouli ( el, Άννα Βερούλη, born November 13, 1956) is a retired Greek javelin thrower. She was born in Kavala. She won the gold medal at the 1982 European Athletics Championships, and a bronze medal at the 1983 World Championships in Athletics. Verouli was tested positive for nandrolone at the 1984 Summer Olympics and was banned from the competition. She was married to weightlifter Ioannis Tsintsaris. Honours See also * |
Kavala
Kavala ( el, Καβάλα, ''Kavála'' ) is a city in northern Greece, the principal seaport of eastern Macedonia and the capital of Kavala regional unit.
