Anna Oxenstierna
Anna Iliana Maria Gabriella Oxenstierna (born 13 June 1963) is a former Swedish professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour and won the 1989 TEC Players Championship. Early life Born into an athletic and golfing family, her father Thure Gabriel Oxenstierna is the architect of Roslagen Golf Club where her brother Alexander later were general manager. Her grandfather Johan Gabriel Oxenstierna won gold in modern pentathlon at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Amateur career Oxenstierna joined the Swedish National Team in 1978 and represented Sweden five times at the European Lady Junior's Team Championship, winning the 1981 and 1984 editions and finishing runner-up in 1982 and 1983. She finished third at the 1983 European Ladies' Team Championship in Waterloo, Belgium, and fourth at the 1985 edition in Stavanger, Norway. Vagliano Trophy
The Vagliano Trophy is a biennial women's amateur golf tournament. It is co-organised by The R&A and the European Golf Association and is contested by teams representing "Great Britain and Ireland" and the "Continent of Europe". It is played in odd-numbered years; the Curtis Cup being played in even-numbered years. The event started in 1931 as a match between Great Britain and France. It was played annually from 1931 to 1939 and from 1947 to 1949, before becoming a biennial event from 1949 to 1957. Britain won 15 of the 16 matches with the 1934 match being tied. From 1949 to 1957 Great Britain had also played a biennial match against Belgium. In 1959 the two matches were replaced by one with Britain playing a team representing the Continent of Europe, the Vagliano Trophy being used for the new event. 1984 Espirito Santo Trophy
The 1984 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 30 October – 2 November at Hong Kong Golf Club in Fonling, Hong Kong. It was the 11th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 22 teams, each with three players. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. The United States team won the Trophy, defending the title from two years ago and winning their ninth title, beating team France by two strokes. France earned the silver medal while the combined team of Great Britain and Ireland took the bronze on third place another three strokes behind. Teams 22 teams contested the event. The 1985 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 3–7 July at Stavanger Golf Club in Hafrsfjord, Norway. It was the 14th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Tania Abitbol (born 21 January 1965) is a professional golfer from Spain, who competed on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. Career As an amateur, Abitol won the 1985 Portuguese International Ladies Amateur Championship. She competed internationally on the Spanish National Team, and finish 3rd at the 1987 European Ladies' Team Championship. On the Ladies European Tour, she won the 1989 Danish Ladies Open and the 1990 WPG European Tour Classic. She was runner-up at the 1991 Valextra Classic and the 1992 Ladies English Open, both times beaten by Laura Davies.
