Anita Östlund
Anita Östlund (born 30 January 2001) is a Swedish figure skater. She is the 2017 Nordic bronze medalist, 2017 Sofia Trophy silver medalist, and a two-time Swedish national champion (2017, 2019). She represented Sweden at the 2018 Winter Olympics and has competed in the final segment at three ISU Championships. Personal life Anita Östlund was born on 30 January 2001 in Odessa, Ukraine. She is the daughter of Yulia, an ethnic Russian, and Peter Östlund. She has three younger sisters – Nicole, Melina, and Michelle. Career Early years Östlund started learning to skate in 2006. For two seasons beginning in 2012–2013, she competed internationally on the advanced novice level. ISU Junior Grand Prix
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Joshi Helgesson
Joshi Helgesson (born 7 June 1993) is a Swedish retired figure skater. She is the 2014 Bavarian Open champion, 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, and three-time Swedish national champion. She and her sister Viktoria are the only siblings to finish together in the top 5 of a major championship as single skaters, a feat achieved during the 2015 European Championships. Personal life Joshi Helgesson was born in Tibro, Sweden. Her elder sister, Viktoria, is also a former competitive skater, and their mother, Christina, is their coach. 2016–17 ISU Challenger Series
The 2016–17 ISU Challenger Series was held from September to December 2016. It was the third season of a group of senior-level international figure skating competitions ranked below the Grand Prix series. Regulations Skaters may enter a maximum of three competitions. After the starting orders are drawn for the short segment, skaters are considered as entered even if they withdraw. With the exception of the host, member nations are limited to three entries per discipline at each event. The International Skating Union requires each Challenger Series competition to include a minimum of three disciplines (from men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), at least ten countries represented in all disciplines combined, and a minimum number of entries and countries in each discipline. The 2015 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2014–15 season. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The event was held on 2–8 March 2015 at the newly constructed Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia.
