Angelo Castro, Jr.
Angelo Ylagan Castro Jr. (6 March 1945 – 5 April 2012) was a Filipino people, Filipino broadcast journalist and actor. He was a news anchor for ''The World Tonight (ABS-CBN), The World Tonight'', the flagship news program of ABS-CBN Corporation, ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN News Channel, ANC. He anchored several ABS-CBN Corporation, ABS-CBN and ANC news and current events programs for the past 25 years. Castro is a recipient of the Ka Doroy Broadcaster of the Year award from the ''Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas''. Castro died at age 67 after succumbing to lung cancer. ''TV Patrol'' is a Philippine television newscast produced by ABS-CBN News. It premiered on March 2, 1987, at the former ABS-CBN television network, replacing ''Balita Ngayon''. The People Power Revolution, also known as the EDSA Revolution or the February Revolution, was a series of popular Demonstration (people), demonstrations in the Philippines, mostly in Metro Manila, from February 22 to 25, 1986. The 30th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards Night was held in 1982 in the Philippines. This is for the Outstanding Achievements of the different films for the year 1981. Edwin Lacierda () is a Filipino lawyer and technology entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of the online payments company, PayMongo. He was a member of the Philippine Cabinet and Presidential Spokesperson of President Benigno S. Aquino III. Prior to this, he was the spokesperson for the presidential campaign of then Senator Aquino from November 2009 up to the elections in May 2010.
