Andy Polo
Andy Jorman Polo Andrade (born 29 September 1994), commonly known as La Joya (The Jewel), is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Universitario and the Peru national team. Polo made his professional debut with Peruvian club Universitario in the 2011 season at the young age of 16. Polo built a name for himself with his rapid acceleration and scoring skills. Being able to play in any of the four attacking positions, in his first season he quickly became an asset in the attacking force of his team. As the team's top scorer, Polo helped the Universitario under-20 squad win the 2011 U-20 Copa Libertadores. Club career Universitario Polo got his start in Universitario de Deportes as a youth. The 2011 Torneo Intermedio (known as the Copa Movistar for sponsorship reasons) was played between June and July while the Peru national football team prepared for and competed in the 2011 Copa América. Copa Inca
The Torneo del Inca was a football competition in Peru played by the football clubs of the Primera División. It was founded in 2011 under the name Torneo Intermedio and was played as a domestic football cup competition between clubs of the first and second division in addition to amateur clubs from smaller leagues that compete in the Copa Perú. It was on hiatus until 2014 when it was reorganized under the name Torneo del Inca and played only between first division teams; its format was modified to feature a group stage and a final. Pablo Vitti (born 9 July 1985) is an Argentine footballer who plays as striker. In the lasts years Vitti played for different clubs both in his country and abroad, including Ukraine, Canada, Mexico and Ecuador. He is known for his dribbling and finishing ability. The Estadio Monumental (''Monumental Stadium'') is a football stadium in the district of Ate in Lima, Peru. It is the home of Club Universitario de Deportes, and it was opened in 2000 to replace the Estadio Teodoro Lolo Fernandez. Its only legal owner is the club itself. Designed by Progreso International and Gremco S.A., Uruguayan architect Walter Lavalleja Sarriés led the construction of the stadium. At the time of its construction, it became Peru's largest stadium and also the 5th largest in South America. Since its expansion to 80,000 capacity in early 2020s, it has become the largest stadium by seating capacity on the continent.
