Andriej Karpov
Andriy Karpov (born 16 January 1987) also spelt Andriej Karpov is a motorcycle speedway rider from the Ukraine. Career Karpov came to prominence when competing the Polish leagues, initially for the Ukrainian teams in Polish Speedway Second League but then in the Ekstraliga for Rzeszów in 2006. It was during 2006 that he won a silver medal at the European Individual Speedway Junior Championship. He quickly gained full international caps for the Ukraine national speedway team and represented them in the European Pairs Speedway Championship. Karpov reached the final of the 2008 Speedway Under-21 World Championship and started competing in the Individual European Championship, where he won a silver medal at the 2009 Individual Speedway European Championship. He won further medals by winning bronze in 2010 and 2012. The 2013 FIM Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the thirteenth FIM Speedway World Cup, the annual international speedway world championship tournament. It took place between 13 July and 20 July 2013 and involved eight national teams. Six teams were seeded through to the tournament and two qualification rounds were held in April and May 2011 to determine the final two places. The 2012 FIM Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the twelfth FIM Speedway World Cup, the annual international speedway world championship tournament. It took place between 7 July and 14 July 2012 and involved eight national teams. Six teams were seeded through to the tournament and two qualification rounds were held in April and May 2012 to determine the final place. As host nation, Sweden were seeded to the Final. Aleksandr Loktaev or Oleksandr Lokatev (, born January 10, 1994) is a Ukrainian speedway rider. He represented Falubaz Zielona Góra in the 2010 Speedway Ekstraliga. In international competitions he represents Ukraine. In 2010 he qualified for the 2010 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship Semi-Final One. The Danish Speedway League ( da, Dansk Speedway Liga) or Danish Super League or Metal League as it is called today is the top division of motorcycle speedway in Denmark. 2011 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification
The 2011 Individual Speedway World Championship Grand Prix Qualification were a series of motorcycle speedway meetings used to determine the three riders who qualified for the 2011 Speedway Grand Prix. The top eight riders finishing the 2010 Grand Prix series automatically qualified for 2011. The final round of qualification – the Grand Prix Challenge – took place on 21 August 2010, in Vojens, Denmark. Artem Laguta and Antonio Lindbäck finished in the top two positions, and thus automatically qualified for the 2011 Speedway Grand Prix season. The third spot was decided in a three-way run-off, with Fredrik Lindgren defeating Janusz Kołodziej and Magnus Zetterström. The 2011 Speedway Grand Prix was the 66th edition of the official World Championship and the 17th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, deciding the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the eleventh series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG (business), IMG company. The series began on 30 April in Leszno and finished on 8 October in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Gorzów. Forty-one-year-old American Greg Hancock won his second Speedway World Championship, 14 years after his first gold medal in 1997. The Swedish rider Andreas Jonsson won his first World Championship medal after finishing first in three events.
