Andrey Sobolev
Andrey Andreyevich Sobolev (russian: Андрей Андреевич Соболев; born 27 November 1989) is a Russian snowboarder, specializing in Alpine snowboarding and formerly specializing in snowboard cross. He is the brother of Olympic snowboarder Natalia Soboleva, who is the silver medalist of the 2019 World Championships. Career Sobolev competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Russia. He was the top qualifier in the parallel giant slalom, but in the 1/8 finals, he lost to Austria's Andreas Prommegger, finishing 9th overall. He then failed to qualify for the elimination round in the parallel slalom, finishing 27th. As of September 2014, his best showing at the World Championships is 14th, in the 2013 parallel slalom. Sobolev made his World Cup debut in February 2007. As of September 2014, he has one podium finish, silver in parallel slalom at Jauerling in 2011–12. His best overall finish is 15th, in 2013–14. Andreas Prommegger
Andreas Prommegger (born 10 November 1980) is a professional snowboarder. His speciality is the Parallel competitions in Slalom, in which he is the 2017 and 2023 world champion, and Giant Slalom, in which he won the gold medal at the 2017 World Championships. He also won the silver medal in Parallel Slalom at the 2021 World Championships, losing the final to long-time friend and rival Benjamin Karl. By winning the 2023 Parallel Slalom title in Bakuriani at 42, he became the oldest world champion ever not only in snowboarding but in all FIS sanctioned events, except grass skiing. Rogla
Rogla () is a peak on Zreče Pohorje ( sl, Zreško Pohorje) in the Municipality of Zreče in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Name Rogla was attested in written sources in 1763–87 as ''Vitenska Planina'' and ''Wittenska Planina''. The Slovene name ''Rogla'' is derived from the Slovene common noun ''rogla'' 'forked tree-covered mountain ridge', referring to the local topography. Tourism Tourism at Zreče Pohorje first appeared before the Second World War. The first wooden observation tower on Rogla was built in 1934. Most tourist buildings were burnt down during the war. The hut on Rogla was rebuilt in 1956. It was managed by the Zreče hiking club until 1972, when it was taken over and renovated by the Unior company.
