Andrew Brayshaw
Andrew Brayshaw (born 8 November 1999) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early career After an impressive junior career for his school, Haileybury (Melbourne), Haileybury, TAC Cup side Sandringham Dragons and the Victorian Metropolitan representative side, he was recruited by Fremantle with the second overall selection in the 2017 AFL draft. AFL career He made his AFL debut for Fremantle in the opening round of the 2018 AFL season after a series of impressive pre-season games. His debut season was cut short when, in Round 20, he was struck by West Coast Eagles player Andrew Gaff in an off-the-ball incident. Sandringham Dragons
The Sandringham Dragons are an Australian rules football club playing in the NAB League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based at the Trevor Barker Oval in Sandringham, Victoria, representing the southern suburban area of Melbourne. The Dragons were one of the founding metropolitan clubs of the competition in 1992 as part of a plan by the Victorian State Football League to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft. The club was originally named the ''Central Dragons'' and played out of Toorak Oval in Prahran, Victoria. In 1995 the name of the club was changed to ''Prahran Dragons'' as part of the agreement which saw the Prahran Two Blues exit the senior Victorian Football League. The 2021 AFL season was the 125th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs, ran from 18 March until 25 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. Ian Brayshaw
Ian James Brayshaw (born 14 January 1942) is a former Australian sportsman. He played both Australian rules football and cricket. Both his sons, Mark Brayshaw and James Brayshaw, were noted athletes in their respective sports, and three of his grandsons have been members of AFL squads. Football career He played Australian rules football at a high level, winning a premiership with in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL), but is best known for his cricket career. Cricket career A right-handed all-rounder, Brayshaw played over 100 first-class games for Western Australia, and he captained the side on several occasions. James Antony Brayshaw (born 11 May 1967) is an Australian media personality and retired cricketer working in television for the Seven Network and radio for Triple M. For Seven Sport, he hosts and calls Test cricket during summer and Australian Football League on Friday nights during winter. The North Melbourne Football Club, nicknamed the Kangaroos, is a professional Australian rules football club. Mark Andrew Brayshaw (born 5 February 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL. He is the brother of James Brayshaw and the son of Ian Brayshaw. His sons Angus, Andrew and Hamish are each on an AFL lists. Playing career Claremont Football Club Brayshaw began and ended his career with Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League. Hamish Brayshaw
Hamish Brayshaw (9 February 1998) is an Australian rules footballer, currently playing for the East Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), who also played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League. Brayshaw was initially selected with the 68th pick in the 2017 AFL draft, before he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2019 AFL season and redrafted with pick 39 in the 2020 rookie draft. The All-Australian team is an all-star team of Australian rules footballers, selected by a panel at the end of each season. It represents a complete team, including an interchange bench, of the best-performed players during the season, led by that season's premiership coach. Despite its nature, the All-Australian team is only ceremonial.
