Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is a public agricultural university with its headquarters at the village Lam, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. History The original Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University was established on 12 June 1964 through the APAU Act 1963 with O. Pulla Reddy as the first vice-chancellor. It was formally inaugurated on 20 March 1965, by Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Prime Minister of India in Hyderabad. On 23 June 1966, another milestone was the inauguration of the building program of the university by Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. Later, it was renamed as Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University on 7 November 1996. Kanneboyina Nagaraju is a medical scientist and immunologist who is credited with creating the MHC Class I transgenic mouse model for autoimmune myositis. Nagaraju is also credited with identifying novel glucocorticoid analogs with reduced side effect profiles in collaboration with Eric Hoffman and John McCall. He led international efforts to improve rigor and reproducibility of preclinical drug trials and phenotyping in neuromuscular disease models. Kadapa district (officially: YSR district; formerly: Cuddapah district) is one of the twenty six districts in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Pulivendula (2008) is a town located in the YSR Kadapa district, a district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a small town which became 3rd grade municipality in 2008 from nagar Panchayat. Madakasira is a town with a population 19,432 in 2001 and also a mandal in Sri Satya Sai district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located near the state border with Karnataka. Mahanandi
Mahanandi is a village located east of the Nallamala Hills of Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is surrounded by forests. Within 15 km of Mahanandi, there are nine Nandi shrines known as ''Nava nandulu''. Mahanandi is one of the Nava Nandis. The Mahanandiswara Swamy Temple, an important shrine, is located here. This ancient temple dates back over 1,500 years. The inscriptions of 10th century tablets speak of the temple being repaired and rebuilt several times.
