Anastasiya Petryk
Anastasiya Ihorivna "Nastya" Petryk ( uk, Анастасі́я Іго́рівна "Настя" Пе́трик; born 4 May 2002) is a Ukrainian singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song " Nebo", becoming the first Ukrainian entrant to win the competition. Life and work In 2009, at the age of 7, Anastasiya Petryk appeared on the second season of '' Ukraine's Got Talent'' with her older sister Viktoria "Vika" Petryk, who represented Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008, finishing in second place. Although Anastasiya was only supporting her sister backstage, the judges invited her to sing a song with her sister Victoria. After singing "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", they were invited to take part in the show together, reaching the semi-finals. That year Anastasiya also won the first prize in the "Moloda Halychyna" and second prize in the "Black Sea Games 2009". Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 was the tenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It took place at the AFAS Live, Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 1 December 2012. Dutch broadcaster AVRO (broadcaster), AVRO was the host broadcaster for the event. For the second time the Netherlands hosted the contest, after hosting the contest in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007, 2007 in Rotterdam. The show was hosted by Kim-Lian, Kim-Lian van der Meij for a second time, this time joined by Ewout Genemans. The motto for the contest was ''"Break The Ice"''. Ukraine In The Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Ukraine has participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since 2006. Ukrainian public broadcaster UA:PBC, has been responsible for the participation. Ukraine won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song " Nebo" performed by Anastasiya Petryk. Her sister, Viktoria Petryk, reached 2nd place at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with "Matrosy". Ukraine hosted the at the Palace of Sports in Kyiv on 21 November 2009. On 30 November 2013, Ukraine once again hosted the competition, this time at Palace "Ukraine" in Kyiv. Kyiv is the first city to host the contest twice, while Ukraine was then the second country after the to host the competition twice. Malta has entered the Junior Eurovision Song Contest eighteen times since debuting at the first contest in 2003 with Sarah Harrison. Entrants for the Contest were selected by a national selection, organised by the Maltese broadcaster PBS from 2003 to 2010. In 2013, the country opted for an internal selection since the broadcaster decided to return to the contest at a rather late stage (25 September 2013). PBS chose Gaia Cauchi as the 2013 Maltese representative. Malta won the contest twice, in 2013 and 2015, making it one of the most successful countries in the contest. Gaia Cauchi M.Q.R. (born 19 November 2002) is a Maltese singer. She represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and won the contest with her song " The Start".
