Amargadhi
Amargadhi is a municipality and the district headquarter of Dadeldhura District in Sudurpashchim Province of western Nepal. It was named after Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa, who fought in the Gurkha War between 1814 and 1816 At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 21,245 people living in 4,778 individual households. Transportation Mahakali Highway links Amargadhi to the Terai region of Nepal as well as Api Municipality in the Lesser Himalayas. Seti Highway branches off Mahakali Highway at Amargadhi towards Dipayal Silgadhi. Dadeldhura District
Dadeldhura, a part of Sudurpashchim Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Dadeldhura as its district headquarters, covers an area of and had a population of 126,162 in 2001 and 142,094 in 2011. The region has a mountainous landscape that contains many religious temples. The district is seldom visited by tourists but contains local routes to Mt Kailash in Tibet, Ra Ra Lake in Humla district, and the last remaining remnants of the Far Western Malla Kingdom. Nagi Malla was the last royal to live here before the Nepalese unification. The spoken language is Doteli and the majority of inhabitants are Hindu. Seti Highway ( ne, सेती राजमार्ग, also referred to as H15) is a highway, in the western region of Nepal. This highway links the towns of Amargadhi, the district headquarter of Dadeldhura and Dipayal Silgadhi, the district headquarter of Doti. Dipayal Silgadhi ( ne, दिपायल सिलगढी) is a municipality and the district headquarter of Doti District in Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Previously, it also served as the headquarter of the Far-Western Development Region. It lies in the Lesser Himalayas on the bank of Seti River. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 32,941 people living in 7,447 individual households.
