Alsbach-Hähnlein is a municipality in southern Hesse (Germany) in the district Darmstadt-Dieburg. It resulted from a merger of the two separate municipalities (''Gemeinden'') Alsbach and Hähnlein. Diósd
Diósd (german: Orasch) is a small town located between the larger cities of Budapest and Érd in the Budapest metropolitan area, Pest County, Hungary. Though many residents commute to work to the capital city Budapest, the largest employers in the town are a manufacturing plant named New MGM Zrt., that produces ball bearings and tapered roller bearing for worldwide OEM customers and dealers, an Interspar grocery store, and the International Christian School of Budapest, a school that serves missionary families, expatriates, and Hungarians. Geography The northern part of Diósd is located on the Tétényi plateau, which is a natural reserve. The ground has a very high concentration of limestone, and many uncommon plants can be found in this area. At least two Beehive Stones can be found in the forest in the northwest of Diósd. Melibokus
The Melibokus (also ''Melibocus'', ''Malchen'' or ''Malschen'') is at 517 metres (1696 feet), the highest hill in the Bergstraße region of southern Hesse, central Germany. It was also the name of a hill in Germania described by classical sources. But the two are probably not the same. Melibokus overlooks the Rhine valley on the western fringe of the Odenwald region and is a local landmark, clearly visible for many miles. On the summit there is a small cafe, a public lookout tower and a US Army radio mast erected on the site of a previous stone tower, destroyed during World War II. The hill is accessible from Zwingenberg/Bergstrasse by foot. The "Nibelungensteig" hill trail leads you from the railway station in Zwingenberg towards the east. Despite the modern use of the classical name, the mountain mentioned in classical sources was probably either the Harz mountains, or Thuringian Forest or both. Darmstadt-Dieburg is a Kreis (Districts of Germany, district) in the south of Hesse, Germany. Neighboring districts are Offenbach (district), Offenbach, Aschaffenburg (district), Aschaffenburg, Miltenberg (district), Miltenberg, Odenwaldkreis, Bergstraße (district), Bergstraße, Groß-Gerau (district), Groß-Gerau, and the district-free city of Darmstadt, which it surrounds. History The district was created in 1975 by merging the previous districts of Darmstadt and Dieburg. In 1963 the district was twinned with the district of North East Derbyshire, England, in 1990 with the district Zwickauer Land in Saxony, Germany, and in 1995 with the Mladá Boleslav region in the Czech Republic.
