Allan Clark (rugby League)
Allan Percival Clark (1881–1935) was a pioneer Rugby League administrator with the St. George Dragons and is remembered with Joe McGraw as the men behind the big push to have the St. George Club admitted into the NSWRFL in 1921. Career Allan Clark was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1881, and first came to the St. George District in 1893. Being a bachelor he was able to devote the whole of his spare time in placing his services in an honorary capacity at the disposal of all kindred bodies and public activities in the St George District for many years. He held important executive positions, and conscientiously gave of his knowledge and experience spontaneously. He is remembered as one of the stalwarts in the early days of the St. George District Rugby League Club, and fought strenuously for the recognition of St George as a first grade district club. Joe McGraw
Joseph William McGraw (1874-1951) was a co-founder of the St. George Dragons rugby league club and an Australian sports administrator from the 1920s. Joe McGraw is remembered as a foundation member of the St. George Dragons District Rugby League Football Club, and was directly responsible with Allan Clark for the club's admission into the NSWRFL competition in 1921. He was their first club secretary, although he retained that role for only 12 months, until he was replaced by Reg Fusedale after a boardroom spill. He continued retaining a keen interest in the club, and ran for many positions with the St. George club and the NSWRFL over many years. McGraw was also a patron of the St. George Dragons Referees' and was a prominent figure within the St. George area junior league in the early days. Allan Vincent Clark (born June 8, 1957) is a former American football running back in the National Football League who played for the New England Patriots, the Green Bay Packers, and the Buffalo Bills. The Murrumbidgee Irrigator
''The Irrigator'', formerly ''The Murrumbidgee Irrigator'', is a weekly newspaper published in Leeton, New South Wales, Australia, since 1915. History ''The Murrumbidgee Irrigator'' was first published on 23 April 1915 only a few years after the establishment of the town. Its circulation included Barellan, Brobenah, Darlington Point, Leeton, Mirrool, Whitton, Wilbriggie, and Yanco. It changed hands a number of times. John Joseph Sullivan owned the paper early in its history, while it was later acquired by Rupert Henderson, who was first general manager of John Fairfax & Sons and later managing director. In November 2001, it was renamed ''The Irrigator'' and remains in publication under this name. Kogarah, New South Wales
Kogarah () is a suburb of Southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Kogarah is located 14 kilometres (9 miles) south-west of the Sydney central business district and is considered to be the centre of the St George area. Location Kogarah took its name from Kogarah Bay, a small bay on the northern shore of the Georges River. The suburb originally stretched to the bay but has since been divided up to form the separate suburbs of Kogarah Bay and Beverley Park. Leeton is a town located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. Leeton is situated in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, approximately 550 km west of Sydney and 450 km north of Melbourne.
