Aliyu Abubakar (footballer)
Aliyu Audu Abubakar (born 15 June 1996), is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a centre back for Radnik Hadžići. Career Club In December 2014, Abubakar signed a three-year contract with Ashdod, before leaving the club following their relegation at the end of the 2014–15 season. Following his release from Ashdod, Abubakar was linked with a move to an unnamed Serie A side. In March 2016, Abubakar signed a one-year contract with KuPS, after a successful trial, then a year later, in February 2017, Abubakar signed for Dila Gori. In April 2018, Aliyu moved to PS Kemi in Veikkausliiga. On 5 February 2020, Shakhter Karagandy announced the signing of Abubakar. The 2019 Belarusian Premier League was the 29th season of top-tier football in Belarus. BATE Borisov were the defending champions, having won their 13th consecutive league title and 15th overall last year. Dynamo Brest won the Belarusian Premier League title for the first time, ending the BATE Borisov streak. Teams The bottom two teams from the 2018 season (Smolevichi and Dnepr Mogilev) were relegated to the 2019 Belarusian First League. Belarusian Premier League
The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier.
