Aliran Kepercayaan
''Aliran Kepercayaan'' ( eng, the branches/flows of beliefs) is an official cover term for various, partly syncretic forms of mysticism of religion in Indonesia. It includes '' kebatinan'', ''kejiwaan'', and ''kerohanian''. In the Indonesian language, it is also used for local religions and beliefs, even new religious movements, in other parts of the world. Characteristics Kebatinan can be described as an amalgam of animist, Hindu-Buddhist, and Islamic (especially Sufi) mystical elements that combine to form Javanese mysticism. According to Caldarola, kepercayaan "is not an apt characterization of what the mystical groups have in common". The US State Department's states: Recognition As a body of belief, kebatinan is officially recognized in the 1945 Indonesian constitution; however, to avoid recognizing it as a formal religion, it is administered by the Department of Education and culture rather than by the Department of Religious Affairs. Marapu
The Marapu religion (also known as Marafu in Sumba) is a form of ancestral religion that is practiced mainly in the island of Sumba in Indonesia. Marapu is also practiced in many more remote areas of Sumba and Flores. Both the Christians and Muslims on these islands tend to combine their faiths with Marapu. Since Marapu, like Kaharingan of the Dayaks, is not an official religion of Indonesia, and all Indonesian citizens are required to identify as a member of one of the religions sanctioned by law, members have chosen either Christianity or Islam to self identify. Lawsuit A member of the Marapu religion, joining forces with representatives of three other indigenous religions, brought a court case to Indonesia's Constitutional court, arguing that the civil rights of Marapu followers suffered because they had not been recognized as one of Indonesia's six official religions (Islam, Protestantism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism). On November 7, 2017, Indonesia's ...

Since the 19th century, Asian meditative techniques have spread to other cultures where they have also found application in non-spiritual contexts, such as business and health. Meditation may significantly reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and enhance peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being. Research is ongoing to better understand the effects of meditation on health (psychology, psychological, neurology, neurological, and cardiovascular) and other areas. Etymol ...
