Ali Eren Beşerler (born 25 October 1975) is a former Turkish international footballer. He played 170 matches at Süper Lig, from 1994 to 2005. Career Gençlerbirliği Beşerler started his career at hometown club, the capital giant Gençlerbirliği. He played 18 league matches for the club youth team at PAF League (reserve league) in 1992–93 season and 12 league appearances and 2 goals in BAL Ligi for the amateur team. In 1994–95 season he was promoted to first team. At Gençlerbirliği he started to play for Turkey U21 since April 1996 and selected to 1997 Mediterranean Games. Beşiktaş He was offered a new 2-year contract by Gençlerbirliği after the tournament, but in October 1997, he was sold to Beşiktaş. The 1997 Mediterranean Games football tournament was the 13th edition of the Mediterranean Games men's football tournament. The football tournament was held in Bari, Italy between 8 and 25 June 1997 as part of the 1997 Mediterranean Games and was contested by 13 teams, all countries were represented by the Olympic teams.Mediterranean Games 1997 (Bari) - ''rsssf.com'' Italy won the gold medal. The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. Nevio Scala (; born 22 November 1947) is an Italian football sporting director, coach and former player. Throughout his footballing career, he played as a midfielder for several Italian clubs, and won several titles during his time with A.C. Milan.
