Ali Boulala
Ali Boulala (born January 28, 1979) is a Swedish professional skateboarder, who has appeared in the Flip Skateboards videos ''Sorry'' and ''Really Sorry'', Osiris' ''Subject to Change'', and numerous Baker Skateboards videos. Early life Boulala was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and is of Finnish and Algerian descent. Professional skateboarding Boulala is sponsored by Flip Skateboards, Independent trucks and Flip wheels. In 2010, Boulala was invited to rejoin the Kr3w Clothing Team, but is no longer listed as a team member on the brand's website as of 2014. Boulala's skateboarding concentrated on the unusual, as he preferred to skate in obscure locations and experiment with skateboard tricks. He is also well known for his attempt to ollie the Lyon 25, a twenty-five-stair stairwell in Lyon, France, as shown in the Flip 2002 video release ''Sorry''. Erik Ellington
Erik Ellington (born August 9, 1977) is an American professional skateboarder, entrepreneur, and designer. Early life Erik Ellington was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, to Rose Ann Ellington and Charles Luther Ellington. His parents separated at an early age and he was raised collectively by his parents and step father Johnson Quarles. In his teens, he moved to Tempe, Arizona, after the passing of his father. After graduating high school, he moved to San Diego to pursue a career as a professional skateboarder. Professional skateboarding Erik Ellington turned pro for Zero Skateboards in 1999 after their second video, "Misled Youth". In 2000, he left Zero to join friends and start Baker skateboards. From there, he went on to design a series of top selling shoes for Emerica, a brand under the Sole technology umbrella. ''Skate'' (stylized as ''skate.'') is a skateboarding video game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and mobile phones. It was developed by EA Black Box and released in 2007. Two sequels, ''Skate 2'' and ''Skate 3'', have been released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as ''Skate It'', a spin-off for Wii, Nintendo DS and iOS platforms. In June 2020, EA announced plans for a new ''Skate'' game. Development The game's "flick it" control system began development long before any graphics had been implemented: the initial prototype simply read analog stick motions and displayed a basic text message saying what trick had been performed, along with speed and accuracy ratings. Arto Saari
Arto Saari (born November 9, 1981) is a Finnish professional skateboarder and photographer. Early life Saari was born in Seinäjoki, Finland. His mother was supportive of his skateboarding and his first skateboard was a Vision Gator model. Skateboarding Saari first attracted attention from the global skateboarding community when he competed at the world championship event in Munster, Germany in 1998 at the age of 16 years. Following the event, Saari was invited by professional skateboarder Danny Way to tour Canada with Plan B, Platinum, and the Red Dragons teams, and received a mailed airline ticket at his family home. However, Saari's professional skateboarding career commenced following his decision to relocate to the United States with Flip and he has rode for the company for most of his professional career.
