Alf Grey
Alfred Grey (born 2 February 1935) is an English former football referee in the English Football League and at FIFA level. During his time on the List he was based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Career Grey qualified as a referee in April 1960. He progressed via The Football Combination and became a Football League linesman in 1968. Three years later he became a supplementary referee and in 1972 he progressed to the full List. His first full season ( 1972–73) was coincidentally the last one for another Great Yarmouth referee who achieved honours - Norman Burtenshaw. In 1972, he made his first appearance at Wembley as a Linesman in the FA Amateur Cup Final between Enfield and Hendon. His next appearance at Wembley was as a senior linesman to Clive Thomas in the 1976 FA Cup Final between Manchester United and Southampton, which the Saints won 1-0 through a goal by Bobby Stokes. John Hunting (referee)
John Hunting (1935) is an English former football referee who operated in the Football League and for FIFA. During his time on the List he was based in Leicester, where he worked as a university lecturer. Career Hunting became a Football League referee at the age of only 32. Four years later he was senior linesman during the 1972 FA Cup Final, and it took only one more year for him to reach the FIFA List. He refereed regularly abroad, including two European Championships qualifying games - the Netherlands against Switzerland on 28 March 1979, and the USSR versus Portugal on 27 April 1983. He also took charge of the FIFA World Cup qualifying match for the 1982 tournament between Nigeria and Tunisia on 12 July 1980. Clive White
Clive Bradley White (born 2 May 1940) is a retired English football referee from Harrow, Middlesex. Career White made the Football League referees list at the age of thirty three in 1973, after four years as a linesman. He made rapid progress, was senior linesman at the 1977 FA Cup Final and was appointed to the FIFA Panel in Summer 1977. He achieved the honour of refereeing the 1982 FA Cup Final, featuring two London clubs, Tottenham Hotspur and QPR. He also handled the subsequent replay, eventually awarding Tottenham the penalty with which they won the Cup. He then went on to referee in the 1982 World Cup Finals in Spain. Gorleston-on-Sea (), known colloquially as Gorleston, is a town in the Borough of Great Yarmouth, in Norfolk, England, to the south of Great Yarmouth. Arnold Johannes Hyacinthus Mühren (born 2 June 1951) is a Dutch football manager and former midfielder. His older brother Gerrie, also a midfield player, won three European Cup titles with Ajax in the early 1970s. Gordon Duffield Smith (born 29 December 1954) is a Scottish football player, coach and executive. Smith played for several clubs, including Kilmarnock, Rangers, Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City. After retiring as a player, he worked as a football agent and BBC football pundit before being appointed chief executive of the Scottish Football Association in 2007, a post he held until his resignation on 19 April 2010.
