2011 Rostelecom Cup
The 2011 Rostelecom Cup was the final event of six in the 2011–12 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at the Ice Palace Megasport in Moscow on November 24–27. Anastasia Platonova
Anastasia Alexandrovna Platonova (russian: Анастасия Александровна Платонова; born 28 August 1986) is a Russian former competitive ice dancer. With Alexander Grachev, she is a two-time (2008–2009) Finlandia Trophy silver medalist and 2008 NRW Trophy champion. With Andrei Maximishin, she is the 2006 Karl Schäfer Memorial silver medalist and won three gold medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series. Career Early in her career, Platonova competed with Dmitri Ponomarev. Platonova competed with Andrei Maximishin from 2003 to 2007. They placed 6th at the 2005 World Junior Championships and 5th in 2006, as well as competing twice at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Nikolai Yurievich Moroshkin (russian: Николай Юрьевич Морошкин: born 15 November 1993) is a Russian choreographer and former competitive ice dancer. With Evgenia Kosigina, he won six medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and finished in the top ten at three World Junior Championships. Career as a figure skater Moroshkin began skating at the age of 5 to improve his health, and took up ice dancing at 11. He began skating with Evgenia Kosigina in June 2010 after their previous partners left them. Following the tryout in his hometown of Tolyatti, Moroshkin moved to train with her in Odintsovo, near Moscow, coached by Alexei Gorshkov. Anastasia Alexeyevna Gorshkova (born 13 March 1987) is a Russian former competitive ice dancer. She competed with Ilia Tkachenko from 2002 to 2006, coached by her father, Alexei Gorshkov. They won the bronze medal at the 2005 World Junior Championships and four medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series — two gold, one silver, one bronze. With partner and wife Jennifer Wester, he is the 2007 Nebelhorn Trophy champion. He is a two-time (2000, 2001) World Junior champion with earlier partner Natalia Romaniuta. Personal life Daniil Barantsev was born March 10, 1982 in Yekaterinburg, Russian SFSR. He has a younger sister, Maria. He moved to the United States in 2002. Career Early in her career, Romaniuta competed with Evgeni Zagovalko. Romaniuta teamed up with Daniil Barantsev in 1996.
