Alexandra Morrison
Alexandra Morrison is a Canadian photographer, who has three times been selected as the Manitoba Photographer of the Year, (2011, 2012, 2015) as well as being selected as the Canadian photographic Artist of the Year in 2009 (the only photographer from Manitoba to win a national Photographer of the Year award, as of March 2013). Morrison's image entitled ''Rain Forest Tapestry'' was selected among the Top 10 Landscape images in the world, at the inaugural World Photographic Cup. Her most recent exhibit included two images in the juried photography show "Captured Images" at the Peachland Art Gallery in Peachland, British Columbia during February 2020. Peachland
Peachland is a district municipality in the Okanagan Valley on the west side of Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 1899 by John Moore Robinson, although the region had long been home to the Okanagan people. Peachland is approximately half-an-hour's drive south of the city of Kelowna and about a 20-minute drive north of Summerland. The Okanagan Valley is very narrow in the area and there are few terraces that mark former lake levels and the former lake bottom. As a result, the city is largely located on a steep sidehill. The ''Winnipeg Free Press'' (or WFP; founded as the ''Manitoba Free Press'') is a daily (excluding Sunday) broadsheet newspaper in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
