Arak ( fa, اراک, ''Arâk''; ) is the capital of Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 526,182, in 160,761 families. The city is nicknamed the "Industrial Capital of Iran". ''Sharh-e Esm'' ( fa, شرح اسم) (''meaning: Name Description'') is the biography of the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei. The book is written by Hedayatollah Behboudi ( fa, هدایت الله بهبودی), and has been translated in some other languages. It was published by the institute of ''Motaale’at wa Pazjuheshhayeh Siyasi'' (Political Studies and Research Institute). "Sharh-e Esm" is about biography-related issues of Seyyed Ali Khamenei—since 1939 to 1979—consisting of matters such as his paternal and maternal ancestors (among his father, Javad Khamenei, Seyyed Jawad Khamenei), and so forth. Qom Seminary
The Qom Seminary () is the largest Islamic seminary (''hawza'') in Iran, established in 1922 by Grand Ayatollah Abdul-Karim Haeri Yazdi in Qom. It trains Usuli scholars. History Although big Shi'a academies existed in Qom dating back as early as 10th century CE, the hawza of the city became prominent at the time of the Safavids when Shi'a Islam became the official religion of Iran. The famous teachers of that era included Mulla Sadra and Shaykh Bahai. The modern Qom hawza was revitalized by Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi and Grand Ayatollah Borujerdi and is barely a century old. Hedayatollah Behboudi Kalhori ( Persian: ;هدایت الله بهبودی کلهری; born 9 may 1960), known as Hedayatollah Behboudi (Persian: هدایت الله بهبودی) is an Iranian Shia writer and reporter. He was born in Tabriz, and left for Tehran in 1964. He graduated in the field of history from University of Tehran in 1992. Behboudi is a researcher and historian (of the Iran–Iraq War; commonly known as "holy defense" in Iran), began his career as a reporter at the beginning of the Iran-Iraq war. He also became a correspondent for the '' Tehran Times'' newspaper. After three years, he moved to the office of '' Jomhouri Eslami.''
