Football Club Alashkert ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Ալաշկերտ), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Football in Armenia, Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni, Armenia, Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic Western Armenian town of Alashkert, now Eleşkirt in Eastern Turkey. The club is owned by Bagrat Navoyan, a businessman and founder of Bagratour LLC. Alashkert has a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian club Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, Botafogo since August 2017. Alashkert Stadium
Alashkert Stadium ( hy, Ալաշկերտ մարզադաշտ), is a football stadium in Yerevan, Armenia. It was known as Nairi Stadium until 2013 when it was renamed Alashkert by the new owners. The stadium is located in Shengavit District, adjacent to Lake Yerevan, on the left bank of Hrazdan River. Varuzhan Sukiasyan
Varuzhan Sukiasyan ( hy, Վարուժան Սուքիասյան, russian: Варужан Гарсеванович Сукиасян; born 5 August 1956 in Yerevan), is an Armenian association football manager and former player. He is the brother of Yervand Sukiasyan. Between 1978 and 1987, Sukiasyan played at FC Kotayk of Abovyan. He managed the Armenia national team in the 2000–2001 period. In 2015–2016, he worked as manager of the Armenia national team, his second spell. Coaching career In 1989, Sukiasyan began his coaching career in FC Lori from Vanadzor, then was the coach of Banants Kotayk between 1992 and 1994, including when they won the Armenian Cup in 1992. He also was the coach of Van Yerevan and Homenmen Beirut. In 1998, Sukiasyan became the coach of Tsement Ararat with which he won the Armenian Premier League in 1998 and 2000 and Armenian Cup in 1998 and 1999. 2013–14 Armenian Cup
The 2013–14 Armenian Cup is the 23rd season of Armenia's football knockout competition. It featured the eight 2013–14 Premier League teams, but no team from the 2013–14 First Division. The tournament began on 18 September 2013, with Pyunik the defending champions, having won their fifth title the previous season. Results Quarter-finals All eight Premier League clubs competed in this round. The first legs were played on 18 September and 2 October 2013, while the second legs were played on 23 October and 6 November 2013. Semi-finals The four winners from the quarterfinals entered this round. The first legs were played on 18 and 19 March 2014, with the second legs completed on 15 and 16 April 2014.
