Armenian Premier League
The Armenian Premier League ( hy, VBET Հայաստանի Պրեմիեր Լիգա, known as the VBET Armenian Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is the top association football, football competition in Armenia. From 1936 to 1991, the competition was held as a regional tournament within the USSR. After independence, the Football Federation of Armenia has been the unit in charge. Over the years, the league has evolved into a small league consisting of ten teams. The winner of the league is awarded a spot in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. Banants Stadium
Urartu Stadium ( hy, Ուրարտու Մարզադաշտ) is an all-seater football stadium in the Malatia-Sebastia District of Yerevan, Armenia. The stadium is home to Urartu FC and has a capacity of 4,860 seats. It was known as Banants Stadium until 1 August 2019, when it was officially renamed Urartu Stadium. Overview Urartu Stadium is located within the sports complex of Urartu Training Centre, occupying the southern part of the complex. The construction of the stadium was launched in 2006 with the assistance of the FIFA Goal Programme. It was officially opened in 2008 with a capacity of 3,600 seats. Further developments were implemented later in 2011, when the playing pitch was modernized and the capacity of the stadium was increased up to 4,860 seats; 2,760 at the northern stand, 1,500 at the southern stand and 600 at the western stand. Zsolt Hornyák
Zsolt Hornyák (born 1 May 1973) is a Slovak football manager and a former defender of Hungarian ethnicity. He is the manager of Hungarian team Puskás Akadémia. As a player, Hornyák won the Czechoslovakian championship in the 1991/1992 season, and following the separation of the two countries, four Slovakian championships, and two Slovakian cups. Hornyák was capped by Slovakia three times between 2000 and 2001. International career Hornyák made his debut for the Slovakia national team in a 2–0 friendly victory over Greece on 15 November 2000. Varuzhan Sukiasyan ( hy, Վարուժան Սուքիասյան, russian: Варужан Гарсеванович Сукиасян; born 5 August 1956 in Yerevan), is an Armenian association football manager and former player. He is the brother of Yervand Sukiasyan. Between 1978 and 1987, Sukiasyan played at FC Kotayk of Abovyan. He managed the Armenia national team in the 2000–2001 period. In 2015–2016, he worked as manager of the Armenia national team, his second spell. Gyumri City Stadium ( hy, Գյումրիի քաղաքային մարզադաշտ) is an all-seater football stadium in Gyumri, Armenia. It is currently the home venue of the Armenian Premier League club FC Shirak of Gyumri.
