2013–14 Armenian Cup
The 2013–14 Armenian Cup is the 23rd season of Armenia's football knockout competition. It featured the eight 2013–14 Premier League teams, but no team from the 2013–14 First Division. The tournament began on 18 September 2013, with Pyunik the defending champions, having won their fifth title the previous season. Results Quarter-finals All eight Premier League clubs competed in this round. The first legs were played on 18 September and 2 October 2013, while the second legs were played on 23 October and 6 November 2013. Semi-finals The four winners from the quarterfinals entered this round. The first legs were played on 18 and 19 March 2014, with the second legs completed on 15 and 16 April 2014. FC Pyunik
Football Club Pyunik (), commonly known as Pyunik (), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 34 won to date. Pyunik is also known to be one of the most popular football clubs in Armenia, along with Urartu, Shirak and Ararat. Pyunik has always had a fierce rivalry with Ararat, as both clubs are considered to be the most successful clubs in Armenia, the latter due to its Soviet accomplishments. FC Shirak
Football Club Shirak (), commonly known as Shirak, is an Armenia, Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional association football, football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 in Armenian football, 1992 until 2020–21 Armenian Premier League, 2021. Shirak is one of the more successful clubs in Armenia, having won a total of 11 domestic titles including four Armenian Premier League titles, two Armenian Independence Cup, Armenian Cup, and five Armenian Super Cup. Hrazdan Stadium
Hrazdan Stadium () is a multi-use, all-seater stadium in Yerevan, Armenia, opened in 1970. Being the largest sports venue in Armenia, Hrazdan was mostly used for Association football, football matches. It was the home stadium of the Armenia national football team until 1999 and has hosted the occasional international game since then. The stadium is able to host 54,208 spectators after the most recent reconstruction in 2008, which converted the stadium into an all-seater one. Before the reconstruction, Hrazdan was able to hold up to 70,000 spectators. It was among the top four stadiums of the Soviet Union by its capacity. The stadium hosted the Armenian Cup finals on many occasions, as well as the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games in 2003. Kamo Hovhannisyan (, born on 5 October 1992) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Armenian Premier League club Ararat-Armenia and the Armenia national team. Club career Kamo Hovhannisyan was born in Yerevan to parents Artashes and Gayane Hovhannisyan. He began to get involved in football at the age of 6, and two years later, he was admitted to the football school Shengavit. The choice of Shengavit justified the proximity of schools to home. Away Goals
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins the tiebreaker. Sport Club Mika (), commonly known as Mika, is an Armenian football club from the capital Yerevan. It was owned by the Mika Corporation LLC headed by the Russia-based Armenian businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov. The club headquarters were located on Manandyan street 41, Yerevan. History The club was founded on November 30, 1998, as Mika-Kasakh Ashtarak in the town of Ashtarak by the owner of Mika Corporation LLC, Mikhail Baghdasarov. FC Gandzasar Kapan is an Armenian football club based in the town of Kapan, Syunik Province. The team plays in Armenian Premier League.
