Alaa Ahmed
Alaa Ahmed ( ar, علاء أحمد; born May 25, 1952) is an Iraqi former footballer. He played as a midfielder and spent the majority of his career with Al-Minaa club. Early years Alaa started his career with Tarbiyat Al Basra team side in his birthplace of Basra, under the close supervision of international referee Sami Naji in 1952 and played football in school teams before he represented Al Basra team in 1971, at the age of 19, and then the Al Moshah team (one of the premier's league teams then). After two seasons he went back to his hometown where he started playing for Al-Inaa which he continued with until his retirement. Basra
Basra ( ar, ٱلْبَصْرَة, al-Baṣrah) is an Iraqi city located on the Shatt al-Arab. It had an estimated population of 1.4 million in 2018. Basra is also Iraq's main port, although it does not have deep water access, which is handled at the port of Umm Qasr. Pestabola Merdeka
Merdeka Tournament or Pestabola Merdeka is a friendly football tournament held in Malaysia to commemorate the Independence Day. The competition bears the Malay word for independence. As of 2022, it has been held 40 times, and decreasingly in recent decades. Matches in Merdeka tournament considered International "A" matches (Friendly match) by FIFA. Its final has been mainly held at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. World Military Cup
The World Military Cup is a football competition for national military teams. It is organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM). The tournament has been held since 1946 and was originally called the World Military Championship. The name changed for the 2001 edition. Abdul Razzaq Ahmed Basheer ( ar, عبد الرزاق أحمد بشير , born 1 July 1944) is an Iraqi former football forward who played for Iraq in the 1972 AFC Asian Cup qualification and 1974 FIFA World Cup qualification. Douglas Aziz Shamasha Eshaya (; born 1 January 1942) is an Iraqi former football player and caretaker coach. He represented the Iraq national team, and is ethnically Assyrian. Club career He was a pillar for club and country during the late 1960s and through the 1970s.
