Al-Hudood Sports Club ( ar, نادي الحدود الرياضي, lit=''The Borders Sports Club'') is an Iraqi sports club based in Falastin Street, East Districts of the Tigris River, Baghdad. It has teams in various sports including Association football, football, basketball, Jujutsu, Kickboxing, and Wrestling. The best known section of the club is the Jujutsu, Kickboxing, and Wrestling teams who play in the Arab and Asian tournaments as representatives of Iraq. History Al-Hudood were founded in 1976 by the Border Guards Command of the Ministry of Interior (Iraq), MOI, In 2008–09 Iraqi Premier Division, 2008–09 season, the football team was playing in the Iraqi Premier League for first time. It was less successful during the first two seasons, and relegated to Iraq Division One at the end of the 2009–10 Iraqi Premier Division, 2009–10 season. Saqr Ajail Al-Janabi ( ar, صگر عجيل الجنابي; born July 10, 1993, in Wasit, Iraq) is an Iraqi footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Al-Hedood in the Iraqi Premier League. International career In 2009, Saqr started playing for the Iraq U16, and then played for the 2012 AFC U-19 Championship with Iraq U19 and won the runner-up title in this championship. He was called by coach Hakeem Shaker to play in the 2013 AFC U-22 Championship in Oman and he won the championship title with the team. Al-Difaa Al-Madani Sport Club ( ar, نادي الدفاع المدني الرياضي, lit=''Civil Defense SC''), is an Iraqi football team based in Al-Shaab, Baghdad, that plays in the Iraq Division One and Iraq FA Cup. History Al-Difaa Al-Madani Sport Club was founded in 2005 by Ministry of Defence. Al-Shorta Sports Club ( ar, نادي الشرطة الرياضي, lit=''Police Sports Club'') is an Iraqi sports club based in Al-Rusafa, Baghdad. It has teams in 17 different sports, more than any other Iraqi club, and the best known section of the club is the football team, whose origins date back to 1932. In 1974, following the Iraq Football Association's decision to implement a clubs-only policy for domestic competitions, Al-Shorta were established as a sports club. Iraq FA Cup
The Iraq FA Cup, known as the Iraq Cup ( ar, كأس العراق) in Arabic, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Iraqi football. First held in the 1948–49 season for clubs and institutions before returning in 1975–76 for clubs only, it is organised by the Iraq Football Association. The tournament begins with several rounds played between lower division clubs, twelve of which advance to the Round of 32, where the Iraqi Premier League clubs are entered. This is followed by the Round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final which is played as a single leg in Baghdad. The winners of the competition are awarded a place in the next season's AFC Cup group stage as well as qualifying for the Iraqi Super Cup where they play against the league champions at the start of the following season (or the league runners-up, if the cup winners have won the double).
