Akeem Latifu
Akeem Latifu (born 16 November 1989 in Kano) is a retired Nigerian footballer. Career Club Latifu began his career for Bussdor United F.C. and signed a contract for Ocean Boys in January 2009 . After a half-year who earned 17 caps left Ocean Boys F.C. and signed for Nigeria Premier League rival Akwa United F.C. in January 2010. On 9 August 2013 he signed a loan-contract with Aalesund. On 21 January 2017, Latifu signed a 1.5-year contract with Azerbaijan Premier League side Zira FK. On 26 July 2017, Latifu signed for Budapest Honvéd. His contract expired in November 2017 and he became a free agent. On 19 February 2018, Latifu signed a 2-year contract with OBOS-ligaen club Sogndal. He left the club on 18 December 2018 by mutual termination. In March 2022 it was reported that he had joined English side Hyde United. However, no further confirmations was made. Kano (Ajami: كانو) is a city in northern Nigeria and the capital of Kano State. The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. The clubs relegated from the 2010 Tippeligaen were Hønefoss (after relegation play-offs), Kongsvinger and Sandefjord. Asker, HamKam, Hødd, and Randaberg were promoted from the 2010 2. divisjon. Following an extended period of financial distress, Lyn withdrew from the league in 2010. Follo did not finish their licensing application for the 2011 season before the time limit of 15 September 2010, and were thus relegated at the end of the 2010 season even though they finished 12th, outside of the relegation zone. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. The 2010 Tippeligaen was the 66th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 14 March and ended on 7 November. Rosenborg was the defending champions, having secured their twenty-first league championship in 2009. Strømsgodset Toppfotball is a Norwegian professional association football, football club based in Gulskogen, Drammen, that competes in the Eliteserien (football), Eliteserien. It is the elite football section of the multi-sports club Strømsgodset IF. The multi-sports club was founded 10 February 1907, but the football team first found success in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Led by the young striker Steinar Pettersen and his team-mates, the «Rødgata Boys» (nicknamed after the street most of them lived on), Strømsgodset got promoted from the fourth tier to the top flight in just a few years.
