Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority
The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority is a civilian government body responsible for overseeing and sanctioning construction and infrastructure development across the suburbs of the city of Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat in India. The office of AUDA is at Usmanpura, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. Recently the area of working of AUDA has been limited due to merger of 18 Gram Panchanyats of Ahmedabad district with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. AUDA completed many works in the metro region of Ahmedabad. Bhupendra Patel is the current chairman of AUDA. AUDA is coming up with a state-of-the-art office on Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. Usmanpura
Usmanpura is an affluent suburban locality on the banks of the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The name is take from Syed Usman, whose tomb located next to Usmanpura garden. The Ashram Road is one of the major roads in the city of Ahmedabad in India. A major portion of the road runs parallel to the Sabarmati. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
The Amdavad Municipal Corporation, or the AMC, established in July 1950 under the Bombay Provincial Corporation Act (1949), is responsible for the civic infrastructure and administration of the city of Ahmedabad. History On 21 April 1831, the collector of the city, Mr. Bordel formed 'Town Wall Fund Committee' comprising the citizens of Ahmedabad with aim of raising fund to repair and renovate the fort of Ahmedabad damaged in floods.
