Ahmad Fadhel Mohammed Al-Nuaimi ( ar, احمد فاضل محمد النعيمي, born 1 January 1992), is an Iraqi footballer who last played as a midfielder for Al-Zawraa in Iraqi Premier League. International debut On 26 March 2013 Fadhel made his full international debut against Syria in a friendly match in Al-Shaab Stadium, in Baghdad. The match was ended 2-1 victory for Iraq. 2012–13 Iraqi Elite League
The 2012–13 Iraqi Elite League was the 39th season of the competition since its establishment in 1974. The season began on 19 October 2012 and finished on 4 September 2013. Al-Shorta were crowned champions for the third time, finishing on 72 points, two points ahead of nearest competitors Erbil. Having only managed a seventh place finish in the previous season, Al-Shorta's results improved significantly under the presidency of Ayad Bunyan and they were able to outperform favourites Erbil, Duhok, Al-Zawraa and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. On the final day of the season, three teams were all still in the race for the title. Al-Shorta needed a win against Al-Talaba to secure the league, whilst Erbil had to defeat Al-Najaf and hope that Al-Shorta failed to win their game if they wanted to retain their title. The 2021 Iraqi Super Cup was the 10th edition of the Iraqi Super Cup. It was held on 17 September 2021 between the 2020–21 Iraqi Premier League champions and FA Cup winners Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and the league's runners-up Al-Zawraa. This was Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's sixth Super Cup appearance overall while Al-Zawraa extended their record to eight appearances. The 2017 Iraqi Super Cup was the 8th edition of the Iraqi Super Cup, and the first since the competition's name was changed from ''Iraqi Perseverance Cup'' to ''Iraqi Super Cup''. The Iraqi Super Cup ( ar, كأس السوبر العراقي), previously called Iraqi Perseverance Cup ( ar, كأس المثابرة العراقي), is Iraqi football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Iraqi Premier League season and the holders of the Iraq FA Cup. The 2018–19 Iraq FA Cup was the 29th edition of the Iraqi knockout football cup as a clubs-only competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football. A total of 20 teams from the Iraqi Premier League and 25 teams from the Iraq Division One and Iraq Division Two participated. It started on 12 September 2018 and the final was played on 26 July 2019 at the Al-Shaab Stadium in Baghdad. The 2016–17 Iraq FA Cup was the 28th edition of the Iraqi knockout football cup as a clubs-only competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football. A total of 19 teams from the Iraqi Premier League and 41 teams from the Iraq Division One participated. It started on 2 December 2016 and the final was played at Al-Sinaa Stadium in Baghdad on 22 August 2017 (the usual venue, Al-Shaab Stadium, was closed for renovation). The Iraq FA Cup, known as the Iraq Cup ( ar, كأس العراق) in Arabic, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Iraqi football. First held in the 1948–49 season for clubs and institutions before returning in 1975–76 for clubs only, it is organised by the Iraq Football Association. The tournament begins with several rounds played between lower division clubs, twelve of which advance to the Round of 32, where the Iraqi Premier League clubs are entered. This is followed by the Round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final which is played as a single leg in Baghdad.
