Adrienne Lili'i
Adrienne Lili'i (born 9 November 1970) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. She debuted for the New Zealand women's national side, the Black Ferns, on 16 October 1999 against Canada at Palmerston North. She was selected for the 2002 Women's Rugby World Cup squad and started in four of their five games. In 1999, Lili'i was part of an unofficial Samoan Manusina team that was invited to the Hong Kong 7s. She was in the Auckland team that won the Women's NPC Championship in 2003. Personal life Lili'i is of Samoan descent and was raised in South Auckland. She was born to Tuala Tele’a Lili'i, a social worker, and Margaret, a registered nurse. She played netball, tennis and badminton in her youth and spent two years of high school at St Mary's College in Vaimoso, Samoa. Dawn Raid Entertainment is a record label based in Papatoetoe, South Auckland, New Zealand. It has signed many New Zealand hip hop and R&B artists such as Savage, Adeaze, Aaradhna, The Deceptikonz, Devolo and Ill Semantics. The founders of Dawn Raid Entertainment announced the closure of the recording label on 19 April 2007 due to liquidation. By June 2007, due to new owners, the label started operating again. Artists represented include Savage, Mareko, The Deceptikonz, Horsemen Family, Sweet & Irie. At its peak, Dawn Raid Entertainment was home to many gold and platinum-selling New Zealand hip hop and R&B artists. The Farah Palmer Cup (formerly known as Women's Provincial Championship until 2016), is the highest level domestic women's rugby union competition in New Zealand and is named after the former Black Ferns captain, Farah Palmer. Flanker (rugby Union)
Flanker is a position in the sport of rugby union. Each team of 15 players includes two flankers, who play in the forwards, and are generally classified as either blindside or openside flankers, numbers 6 and 7 respectively. The name comes from their position in a scrum in which they 'flank' each set of forwards. They compete for the ball – most commonly in rucks and mauls. Flankers also assist in pushing in a scrum, but are expected to detach from the scrum as soon as the ball is out to get to the play before the opposition's forwards. The Canada women's national rugby union team represents Canada in international rugby union competitions. They are overseen by Rugby Canada, the governing body of rugby union in Canada.
