Adriaan Luteijn
Adriaan Luteijn (born 1964) is a Dutch choreographer who has worked with many dancers and ensembles in the Netherlands and in other countries. Career Adriaan Luteijn was born 's Heer Arendskerke, a village in the southwest of the Netherlands, in 1964. He trained as a dancer at Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg. In 1989 he joined Introdans Ensemble for Youth when it was created, taking a leading position due to his unusual visual appearance and his expressive dance techniques. He retired from dancing in 1998 at the age of 35 and began working as choreographer and teacher. He has worked with children, people with disabilities and the elderly. He has traveled widely. He has worked with many dancers and ensembles in the Netherlands and other countries. 's Heer Arendskerke
s-Heer Arendskerke is a village in the municipality of Goes in the south-western Netherlands. Overview The settlement consists of two circles of houses around a Protestant church, on a single main road with an obsolete village hall. On the other side of the main road is a little industrial site called ''Eindewege'' (end of the road), containing tin huts and small garages. The remainder of the area is given over to fields for agriculture. There is one primary school and one secondary school. There is also a GP and a nurse/physiotherapist. Tilburg () is a city and municipality in the Netherlands, in the southern province of North Brabant. Introdans
Introdans is a dance company based in the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands, established in 1971 by Hans Focking and Ton Wiggers. In 2009 the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science designated Introdans part of the basic national infrastructure. History The company was founded in 1971 by Ton Wiggers, a former dancer, with a few friends who met in his living room in Arnhem. At first the small company produced classical ballet pieces choreographed by Wiggers. The company gradually became known, first touring in the Netherlands and then in 1993 making its international debut. Since then Introdans has traveled widely. For example, it was the first company to perform on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Russia. Sonsbeek
Sonsbeek is an outdoor sculpture exhibition founded in 1949, that takes place intermittently in Park Sonsbeek in Arnhem, the Netherlands. It was originally meant to be a biennial exhibition, however it occurs on an irregular schedule. Sonsbeek was initiated in an attempt to repair the heavy damage the city had suffered during the Battle of Arnhem during the Second World War. The 1949 inaugural exhibition featured over 200 sculptures that were installed along the park's pathways. It was attended by over 100,000 visitors. The first instalment included artists such as Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, and Pablo Picasso. Later exhibitions featured artists such as Jenny Holzer, Claes Oldenburg and others. The 1971 installment of the show was the most well known, and often criticized, of the Sonsbeek exhibitions. Flat feet (also called pes planus or fallen arches) is a postural deformity in which the arches of the foot collapse, with the entire sole of the foot coming into complete or near-complete contact with the ground. Sometimes children are born with flat feet (congenital). There is a functional relationship between the structure of the arch of the foot and the biomechanics of the lower leg. The arch provides an elastic, springy connection between the forefoot and the hind foot so that a majority of the forces incurred during weight bearing on the foot can be dissipated before the force reaches the long bones of the leg and thigh.
