Adam Simac
Adam Simac (born August 9, 1983) is a Canadian male volleyball player. He was part of the Canada men's national volleyball team at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Poland. He played for Energy Investments Lugano. An Ottawa native, Simac attended Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School. He played four years of college volleyball at Queen's University at Kingston, leading the Golden Gaels to a sixth-place finish at the 2006 national championship – their best finish in 34 years. Simac was first called up to the Canada men's national team in 2008. Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School is a public school of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board located in the neighbourhood of Fallingbrook, within the suburb of Orleans, in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. Arkas ( el, Αρκάς) is the pen name of a popular Greek comics artist that began working in early 1981. His comics have a unique style, often combining humor and deep philosophical questions. The structure of the stories are generally very simple with each volume being made up of individual strips which follow some general plot guidelines. Queen's Golden Gaels
The Queen's Gaels (also known as the Queen's Golden Gaels) is the Athletics program representing Queen's University at Kingston in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Team colours are blue, red, and gold. The main athletics facilities include Richardson Memorial Stadium, the Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre, Nixon Field and Tindall Field. Queen's teams have had a variety of successes both provincially and nationally.
