Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School (Ottawa)
Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School is a public school of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board located in the neighbourhood of Fallingbrook, within the suburb of Orleans, in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. The school's principal is Nancy Girozan. Acting as a community hub, the school is connected to the Ray Friel Recreational Complex, the Cumberland branch of the Ottawa Public Library, a branch of the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre, and the River Heights Children Centre. The school's motto is "We Strive for the Highest" and its mission statement includes respect for self, respect for others, and respect for property and the environment. Donald "Mark" Seale (born March 10, 1960, in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a former professional Canadian football defensive lineman who played seven seasons in the Canadian Football League for three teams. Seale was selected as a territorial exemption by the Ottawa Rough Riders in the 1982 CFL Draft. He was also the 12th round selection of the New York Giants in the 1982 NFL Draft. Jackson Bennett (born January 5, 1996) is a professional Canadian football running back for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played U Sports football with the Ottawa Gee-Gees from 2014 to 2017.
