The Aboitiz Pitch at The Outlets is a multi-sport venue in Lipa, Batangas, Philippines . Background The Aboitiz Pitch with a 1,500 seating capacity is part of The Outlets at Lipa retail development of Lima Land Inc., a company under Aboitiz Equity Ventures. The venue situated above sea level is designed by WTA Architecture + Design Studio. It opened in June 2018. The pitch measuring , can be utilized to play multiple sports including football. The venue uses Limonta Infinity as its artificial grass surface and could be converted to two fields for recreational football or a for full regulation play. Lipa (), officially the City of Lipa ( fil, Lungsod ng Lipa), is a 1st class component city in the province of Batangas, Philippines. The Aboitiz Football Cup is an annual football tournament held in the Philippines. The tournament consists of 10 categories, from players eight up to the men's open. It was originally established in Cebu and it served as the province's most prestigious football tournament until its move to Lipa, Batangas in 2019. It serves as the Cebu F.A.'s selection process for the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), which organizes national competitions. History The Aboitiz Football Cup was established in Cebu. The second edition of the competition in 1997 only featured a men's division which saw the participation of alumni and club teams such as M. Lhuillier. The street is named after Enrique Mendiola, an educator, textbook author, and member of the first Board of Regents of the University of the Philippines.
