Abhaya Hiranmayi
Abhaya Hiranmayi (born 24 May 1989) is an Indian playback singer. She has recorded songs and provided backing vocals for film music in Malayalam and Telugu languages. Early life and education Born in a creatively inclined family in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Hiranmayi did not take up any formal training in music until later. She learnt the basics of music from her mother Lathika, a postgraduate in music and a disciple of Prof. Neyyattinkara M.K. Mohanachandran and gained further knowledge by passively listening to musical lessons conducted by her father's brother, a professor at Swati Thirunal College of Music. Her father G. Mohan, was a programme producer for Doordarshan Kendra. Hiranmayi grew up in Thiruvananthapuram where she attended Carmel School. Mamta Mohandas
Mamta Mohandas is an Indian actress, film producer and a playback singer of Malayalam film industry, she has also worked in Tamil and Telugu productions. She has acted in more than 50 films and won several accolades including two Filmfare Awards South, for Best Female Playback Singer in Telugu in 2006 and for Best Actress in Malayalam in 2010 and also Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress in 2010. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century.
