Aberystwyth Rugby Football Club is a rugby union team from the town of Aberystwyth, West Wales. The club gained membership of the Welsh Rugby Union in May, 1954 which allowed future competitive matches. Aberystwyth
Aberystwyth () is a university and seaside town as well as a community in Ceredigion, Wales. Located in the historic county of Cardiganshire, means "the mouth of the Ystwyth". Aberystwyth University has been a major educational location in Wales since the establishment of University College Wales in 1872. The Welsh Rugby Union Division One West (also called the SWALEC Division One West for sponsorship reasons) is a rugby union league in Wales first implemented for the 1995/96 season. Scarlets
The Scarlets () are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. The club was originally named the Llanelli Scarlets but was renamed at the start of the 2008–09 rugby season.
