aaajiao, is the online handle of Xu Wenkai (), a Shanghai- and Berlin-based artist, avid blogger and free thinker. Born in 1984, aaajiao grew up in Xi'an. Being one of the most frequently exhibited Chinese new media artists, aaajiao has been featured in both international and domestic scenes. LEO XU Projects
LEO XU Projects is a contemporary art gallery based in Shanghai exhibiting young and international artists. The gallery Leo Xu Projects is the eponymous gallery founded by Leo Xu in 2011. It is housed in a three-story building in Shanghai's former French Concession, near the intersection of West Fuxing Road and Wulumuqi Road. It represents a younger generation of artists from China and overseas who experiment with a variety of media. Castello Di Rivoli
The Castle of Rivoli is a former Residence of the Royal House of Savoy in Rivoli (Metropolitan City of Turin, Italy). It is currently home to the Castello di Rivoli – Museo d'Arte Contemporanea, the museum of contemporary art of Turin. In 1997, it was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list along with 13 other residences of the House of Savoy. History The castle was probably built in the 9th–10th centuries. Its existence is mentioned for the first time in 1159, in a diploma by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa that ceded the Rivolese territories to the bishops of Turin. Frieze Art Fair
Frieze Art Fair is an international contemporary art fair in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Frieze London takes place every October in London's Regent's Park. In the US, the fair ran on New York's Randall's Island from 2012–19 and in 2021 was held in the Shed at Hudson Yards, with its inaugural Los Angeles edition taking place February 2019. The London edition normally has about 160 exhibitors in Frieze. It is held over four days in a 40,000SqM tent. There is a simultaneous Frieze Masters event showing older work with about 130 exhibitors, and a temporary sculpture park. In 2021 stand rental was £524 per sqM.
