The Division Excellence (DEX-H) is the top professional basketball league in Morocco. Founded in 1957, the league currently consists of 16 teams. The league is administered by the Royal Moroccan Basketball Federation (FRMBB). The current defending champions are AS Salé, who have won the league seven seasons in a row. Essaouira ( ; ar, الصويرة, aṣ-Ṣawīra; shi, ⵜⴰⵚⵚⵓⵔⵜ, Taṣṣort, formerly ''Amegdul''), known until the 1960s as Mogador, is a port city in the western Moroccan region of Marakesh-Safi, on the Atlantic coast. It has 77,966 inhabitants as of 2014. Jeremy Kendle
Jeremy Paul Kendle (born March 15, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Southland Sharks of the New Zealand National Basketball League (NZNBL). He played three seasons of college basketball for Bellarmine University, becoming the only player in school history to be named to the NABC All-America Team two years in a row. He was also a key member of the Bellarmine Knights' 2011 championship-winning team, helping the school claim their first NCAA Division II National Championship. Kendle moved to Australia in 2015 and saw immediate success, claiming the QBL Most Valuable Player award as a member of the Toowoomba Mountaineers. The following year, he joined the Bendigo Braves and helped them win the SEABL championship. He was also named league MVP and grand final MVP. Stéphane Konaté
Kinidinnin Stéphane Konaté Sornan (born 23 August 1980) is an Ivorian basketball player for the ABC Fighters and . He is nicknamed "El Jefe" ("The Chef"). Professional career Konaté started his professional career with Africa Sports in 2002, while still attending high school. He played with the team for three seasons. In 2005, he signed with Abidjan Basket Club (abbreviated as ABC). Konaté won the 2015 FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup with ABC. He was also named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Milan Škobalj ( sr-Cyrl, Милан Шкобаљ, born 9 July 1963) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He mostly recently coached in Luxembourg. Coaching career Škobalj had worked as an assistant coach in FMP Železnik for three seasons before he became the assistant coach of Crvena zvezda in 2001.
