AP1 TV ( ne, एपिवान टेलिभिजन) is a television channel based in Kathmandu, Nepal owned by Annapurna Media Network, the publishers of Annapurna Post. It was launched on March 31, 2017. The Chairman is Captain Rameshwor Thapa. AP1 HD provides wide range of television shows, live broadcast, sports, and events around the country. TV shows on AP1 TV AP1 TV is Nepal's first satellite HD television. It was also noted for its international franchise show ''Nepal Idol''. AP1 TV announced their new shows on Shrawan 1st, 2077. In which popular media personality Bhusan Dahal, Thakur Belbase, Prakash Subedi, singer Deepak Bajracharya, etc joined AP1 TV. Nepali (; , ) is an Indo-Aryan language native to the Himalayas region of South Asia. It is the official, and most widely spoken, language of Nepal, where it also serves as a '' lingua franca''. Annapurna Post
Annapurna Post () is a daily broadsheet newspaper published in Nepal. It started printing in 2002 and launched its online news portal in 2013 by Annapurna Media Network, which also owns The Annapurna Express, AP1 TV and Radio Annapurna Nepal. By the 4 April 2014, its online news portal was listed among 10 most visited news portal in Nepal. It also launched its own mobile news app by 2018. Nepal Idol
Nepal Idol ( ne, नेपाल आइडल ) is a Nepali reality television singing competition that is part of the ''Idols'' franchise created and owned by FremantleMedia. Nepal Idol 2017 is the first season of Idol Franchise in Nepal which aired on AP1 TV. In the first season, audition were held at seven cities; Nepalgunj, Butwal, Narayangarh, Birgunj, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Kathmandu. Contestants aged 16 to 30 years of age are allowed to participate. The first ever season of the show was won by Buddha Lama from Pokhara, Nepal in which a total of 93,100,000 votes were cast for the grand finale. Similarly, the second season of Nepal Idol was won by Ravi Oad from Dhangadi. And, the third season of Nepal Idol was won by Sajja Chaulagain from Morang. Bhusan Dahal
Tara Bhusan Dahal (born 18 May 1966) is a Nepali television personality, music video director, film director and media personality based in Nepal; he has been active in the Nepali television industry since 1988. The 2018 SAFF Championship, also known as 2018 SAFF Suzuki Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 12th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's association football, football championship of South Asia organized by South Asian Football Federation, SAFF. The 2019 South Asian Games, officially the XIII South Asian Games, was a major multi-sport event which was originally slated to be held from 9 to 18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. However, the dates were postponed and the event was held from 1–10 December 2019, coincidentally at the same time as the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines.
