Annapurna Post
Annapurna Post () is a daily broadsheet newspaper published in Nepal. It started printing in 2002 and launched its online news portal in 2013 by Annapurna Media Network, which also owns The Annapurna Express, AP1 TV and Radio Annapurna Nepal. By the 4 April 2014, its online news portal was listed among 10 most visited news portal in Nepal. It also launched its own mobile news app by 2018. In the annual newspaper classification report 2073/2074 BS by Press Council Nepal, this newspaper was categorized in the A category, the second highest possible rank below A+. Annapurna Media Network
Annapurna (; ne, अन्नपूर्ण) is a mountain situated in the Annapurna (mountain range), Annapurna mountain range of Gandaki Province, north-central Nepal. It is the List of highest mountains on Earth#List, tenth highest mountain in the world at above sea level and is well known for the difficulty and danger involved in its ascent. Maurice Herzog led a 1950 French Annapurna expedition, French expedition to its summit through the north face in 1950, making it the first eight-thousander, eight-thousand meter peak ever successfully climbed. Nepali Language
Nepali (; , ) is an Indo-Aryan language native to the Himalayas region of South Asia. It is the official, and most widely spoken, language of Nepal, where it also serves as a '' lingua franca''. Online Khabar
Online Khabar is an independent private online news portal of Nepal established in 2006, providing news in Nepali and English languages. There is no print available from this media house. In 2014, it was one of the top 10 web news portal in Nepal. By 2020, it became the most viewed news portal from Nepal. The rise in online viewing of online newspapers including Online Khabar has been partially attributed to the Gorkha earthquake of 2015 during which the print media had stopped. The Press Council Nepal is an autonomous and independent media regulatory body set up by the Government of Nepal that overlooks the development of the freedom of the press in Nepal and that advises the Government on policy developments to ensure this development.
