ACE Bakery
ACE Bakery is a maker of European-style, artisan breads and baked goods. The company, based in Toronto, has some 35 varieties of bread. According to Toronto Life, ACE Bakery's bread is preservative free and from natural starters. In addition to other products, including a line of granola and artisan crisps, marketed across Canada and parts of the United States. Along with breads, ACE Bakery also makes par-baked or partially baked, flash-frozen dough. Founded by a Caledon, Ontario husband and wife, the company is today owned by FGF Brands. In the standard French deck, an ace has a single suit (cards), suit symbol (a heart, diamond, spade, or club) located in the middle of the card, sometimes large and decorated, especially in the case of the ace of spades. This embellishment on the ace of spades started when James VI and I, King James VI of Scotland and I of England required an insignia of the printing house to be printed on the ace of spades. This insignia was necessary for identifying the printing house and stamping it as having paid the new stamp tax. North York
North York is one of the six administrative districts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located directly north of York, Old Toronto and East York, between Etobicoke to the west and Scarborough to the east. As of the 2016 Census, it had a population of 869,401. Martin Philip Connell, OC, O.Ont is a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. He is the 1994 recipient of the Pearson Medal of Peace for his work in fighting poverty.
