A333 Road
The A333 is a short road in Surrey, England. It runs between the Hazel Grove junction of the A3 trunk road and the centre of Hindhead both in the large semi-rural civil parish of Haslemere, centred on the town of that name. It was a section of the A3 trunk road until it was re-numbered in 2011, as planned, on the Hindhead Tunnel's construction which bypasses it. Route The A333 is a short, straight road close to the north-west edge of civil parish of Haslemere which it runs within. It climbs between the Hazel Grove junction of the A3 trunk road and the centre of Hindhead, the highest village in the county, in high semi-rural parts of the Waverley (district) at the south-west corner of Surrey. M3 Motorway (Great Britain)
The M3 is a motorway in England, from Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, to Eastleigh, Hampshire; a distance of approximately . The route includes the Aldershot Urban Area, Basingstoke, Winchester, and Southampton. It was constructed as a dual three-lane motorway except for its two-lane section between junction 8 (A303) and junction 9. The motorway was opened in phases, ranging from Lightwater/Bagshot to Popham in 1971 to Winchester to Otterbourne Hill in 1995. The latter stages attracted opposition from environmental campaigns across Britain due to its large cutting through wooded Twyford Down; numerous road protests were held which delayed its opening. Wickham, Hampshire
Wickham () is a large village and Civil parishes in England, civil parish in Hampshire, England, about three miles north of Fareham. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 4,816, falling to 4,299 at the 2011 Census. Wickham has a wide and well-proportioned square lined with historic buildings and is designated a Conservation Area (United Kingdom), conservation area. It was the fording place of the River Meon on the Roman road between Noviomagus Regnorum (Chichester) and Venta Belgarum (Winchester), and the inferred divergent point of the route to Clausentum (Bitterne). Cosham
Cosham ( or ) is a northern suburb of Portsmouth lying within the city boundary but off Portsea Island. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 along with Drayton and Wymering (mainland) and Bocheland ( Buckland), Frodington (Fratton) and Copenore (Copnor) on the island.
