Jabbeke
Jabbeke () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Jabbeke proper, Snellegem, Stalhille, Varsenare and Zerkegem. On 1 January 2006 the municipality had 13,572 inhabitants. The total area is , giving a population density of 252 inhabitants per km². The Flemish Government ( nl, Vlaamse regering ) is the executive branch of the Flemish Community and the Flemish Region of Belgium. It consists of a government cabinet, headed by the Minister-President and accountable to the Flemish Parliament, and the public administration (civil service) divided into 13 policy areas, each with an executive department and multiple agencies. In Belgium, the motorways ( nl, autosnelwegen; french: autoroutes; german: Autobahnen) are indicated by an A and an E (for European) number. The E numbers are used most often. Roads that are (part of) a ring road around a town or city are mostly indicated by an R number. European Route E40
European route E40 is the longest European route, more than long, connecting Calais in France via Belgium, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan, with Ridder in Kazakhstan near the border with Russia and China. A different route connecting Calais and Ridder is about shorter, mostly using the E30 via Berlin-Moscow-Omsk. The E40 differs from that route in order to provide additional direct east-west access to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan, which have a combined population base approaching 50 million people as of 2021.
