Associazione Calcio Jesolo is an Italian association football club, based in Jesolo, Veneto. Jesolo currently plays in Prima Categoria Veneto group G. History The club was founded in 1929 as Gruppo Sportivo Dopolavoro Jesolo, become Associazione Calcio Jesolo on 1945. In the 1972–73 the club won Coppa Italia Dilettanti, so it played the Barassi Cup in 1973 with Walton & Hersham F.C. It played in serie D from 1965–66 to 1968–69 and from 1978–79 to 1985–86. The refoundation It was refounded on 1997 in Terza Categoria of Venice after the bankruptcy of the old company. Since the summer 2010 with the transfer of U.S. Città di Jesolo to San Donà di Piave, the club becomes the first and only football team in the city of Jesolo. It is the seventh level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system and is organized by the National Amateur League by the Regional Committees. Each individual league winner within the Prima Categoria level progresses to their closest regional league in the Promozione level. The Coppa Italia Dilettanti (Italian language, Italian for: Italian Amateurs Cup) is an annual knock-out competition for teams from the fifth and sixth levels of Football in Italy, Italian football: the Eccellenza and the Promozione. All ties except for the final, which is held at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome, are played on a home-and-away basis. The cup-winners are also awarded promotion to Serie D, the fourth-ranked league. Coppa Ottorino Barassi
The Coppa Ottorino Barassi (also called Italian-English Amateur League Cup) is a defunct amateur association football competition named after Ottorino Barassi that was contested from 1968 until 1976. The competition was contested by the English FA Amateur Cup winners and the Italian Coppa Italia Dilettanti winners and was played over two-legs, one at each participating club's stadium. Leytonstone F.C. were the first champions of the competition in 1968, winning on the away goals rule following a 1–1 draw in the first leg at home, and a 2–2 in the return away fixture. The following year the cup was shared after both legs finished 2–0 to the home team. The Serie D () is the top level of semi-professional football in the country. The fourth tier of the Italian league system, the competition sits beneath the third professional league, Serie C. It is administered by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and is organized by the Roman ''Comitato Interregionale'' (Interregional Committee), a "league in the league" inside the LND. The Terza Categoria is the lowest level of amateur football in Italy. It is the ninth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Terza Categoria level progresses to their closest regional league in the Seconda Categoria level. Unlike all the levels above the Terza Categoria, there is no relegation.
