81st Armed Police Mobile Division (People's Republic Of China)
The 81st Division was a military formation of the People's Liberation Army during and after the Chinese civil war and a part of People's Volunteer Army (Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) or Chinese Communist Forces (CCF)) during the Korean War. They were a component of the 27th Army. The 81st Division () was created in February 1949 under ''the Regulation of the Redesignations of All Organizations and Units of the Army'', issued by Central Military Commission on November 1, 1948, basing on the 27th Division, 9th Column of Huadong Field Army. Its history could be traced to 3rd Security Brigade of Shandong Military Region, formed on September 3, 1946. On November 28, 1950, the 80th Division hit the dispersed U.S. units of Task Force Faith with waves of infantry. The 84th Division () was created in February 1949 under ''the Regulation of the Redesignations of All Organizations and Units of the Army'', issued by Central Military Commission on November 1, 1948,: basing on the 30th Division, 10th Column of the Huadong Field Army, which was just activated in January 1949. The division was part of the 28th Corps. Under the flag of the 84th Division, it was engaged in several battles in the Chinese Civil War, including the Shanghai Campaign. Handan
Handan is a prefecture-level city located in the southwest of Hebei province, China. The southernmost prefecture-level city of the province, it borders Xingtai on the north, and the provinces of Shanxi on the west, Henan on the south and Shandong on the east. The 10th Tank Division () was formed in August 1967 with the 4th Independent Tank Regiment, 284th Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment from the 79th Army Division and the 286th Tank Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment from the 81st Army Division. 24th Group Army
The 24th Army was a military formation of the People's Liberation Army. It was established in February 1949 and finally disbanded circa 2000–2003. The 24th Corps() was activated in February 1949, which has originally consisted of the 70th Division (now 3rd Guard Division), 71st Division, and 72nd Division. In October 1950, the 71st Division detached from the corps and joined the PLAAF. In July 1952, the 73rd Division detached from the corps to join the 23rd Corps, which was later deployed into North Korea. The 74th Division joined the corps on August 26, 1952, after the disbandment of the 25th Corps. Liaoning
Liaoning () is a coastal province in Northeast China that is the smallest, southernmost, and most populous province in the region. With its capital at Shenyang, it is located on the northern shore of the Yellow Sea, and is the northernmost coastal province of the People's Republic of China.
