The 2022 European Wrestling Championships was held from 28 March to 3 April 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. Belarusian and Russian wrestlers did not compete at the event after a ban as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Ismail Timurovich Musukaev (russian: Исмаил Тимурович Мусукаев, hu, Muszukajev Iszmail Timurovics; born 28 January 1993) is a Russian freestyle wrestler of Balkar heritage, who has been representing Hungary since 2019. He represented Hungary at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan in the men's 65 kg event. Career He was the runner-up at the Russian nationals in 2015 at 57 kg. At the Russian nationals 2016 at the end of the 57 kg quarterfinal wrestling match between Lebedev and Musukaev the referees awarded the victory to Viktor Lebedev. However, after the match the Russian Championships wrestling commission considered mistakes of the referee and awarded the victory to Ismail Musukaev (4-2). Frank Chamizo Marquez (born 10 July 1992) is a Cuban-Italian freestyle wrestler who competes at 74 kilograms.
